Attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 is a press release issued by Matador Resources Company (the “Company”) on July 25, 2022, announcing the declaration of a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock.
The dividend is being paid pursuant to the dividend policy (the “Policy”) adopted by the Company’s Board of Directors (the “Board”) in June 2022. The payment of future dividends will be made at the discretion of the Board and will depend on the Company’s results of operations, cash flows, financial position and capital requirements, as well as general business conditions, legal, tax and regulatory restrictions and other factors the Board deems relevant at the time it determines to declare such dividends.

MATADOR RESOURCES COMPANY DECLARES QUARTERLY CASH DIVIDEND
DALLAS, Texas, July 25, 2022 -- Matador Resources Company (NYSE: MTDR) (“Matador”) today announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.10 per share of common stock payable on September 1, 2022 to shareholders of record as of August 17, 2022. In accordance with the Company’s amended dividend policy announced on June 10, 2022, this quarterly dividend of $0.10 per share is double the prior quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share.
